Whether it’s speaking up, being more assertive, setting clear boundaries, responding to criticism or giving feedback effectively, participants will develop the skills to handle challenging situations with greater ease. The course introduces a practical resolution framework and offers hands-on practice with key techniques and strategies drawn from professional mediation.

Accreditation

You’ll receive a digital certificate of attendance at the end of the course.

While the course isn’t formally accredited yet, we’re currently working toward certification with The CPD Certification Service. Your trainer is a qualified practitioner and experienced Mediator, with a background in delivering accredited training.

This training is open to anyone, because conflict happens every day. Whether you’re navigating workplace dynamics, family relationships, or community settings, the tools shared in this course can help you build stronger conversations and deeper connections.

Courses typically run from 09:30 to 16:30 and may be delivered online or in person.

You can expect:

  • A short morning and afternoon break and a 45-minute lunch
  • A mix of activities to suit different learning styles
  • A digital course manual (with printed copies available for in-person sessions)

The course is highly interactive and experiential. You’ll take part in group discussions, small-group activities, practical exercises and reflections.

We’ll check in on individual learning needs before the session and adjust wherever possible to support accessibility and inclusion.

Group sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for meaningful engagement. The maximum number of learners is usually 12-16. Sub-group work will be carried out with 3 or 4 learners, depending on numbers.
